Thanks to Costco and other businesses

I realize that Veterans Day was a couple of weeks ago, but I still want to express my thanks and gratitude to the various businesses that helped us in honoring our veterans.

Special thanks go to Costco for its generous donations of food, beverages and geedunks (Navy lingo for donuts, etc.) for continental breakfast and spaghetti luncheon.

Ray Kau

We would like to thank everyone who helped us through the illness and loss of our beloved “Papa,” Ray Kau. Though it is never easy to say goodbye, the support by many was sincerely appreciated.

Evergreen Hospice was so very compassionate and helpful. Thank you, Pastor Ed Skipper and the Free Methodist Church members for the wonderful memorial service and your many prayers. To all the friends and family who cheered Ray on, baked cookies and brought food, your kindness truly blessed us. Kindness speaks a language that is understood by the grateful heart, and we are grateful.

The staff at Green Acres School, your kind words of praise have touched our hearts in a very special way. We only wish that Darold could have known how many people’s lives he touched.
